Fred J. Colombo, D.D.S.

After attending Queens College and Fordham University, Dr. F. Colombo received a D.D.S. degree from Marquette University where he graduated at the top of his class. He then served as Captain in the U.S.A.F. at Headquarters Command in Washington, D.C. Upon leaving the U.S.A.F. he established a practice in South Ozone Park, N.Y. where he was born and raised. Massapequa was his choice to relocate, since his entire family lived there. Dr. F. Colombo is married with four daughters and five grandchildren. Dr. F. Colombo is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and O.K.U., which is awarded only to the top 5% of dentists nationwide.

 

Victoria Colombo, D.M.D.

Dr. V. Colombo completed her undergraduate studies at Hofstra University and Providence College. She received her D.M.D. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, College of Dental Medicine in 1990. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. As the Founder and past President of Island Study Club, Dr. V. Colombo organized young dentists interested in various continuing education studies. She also served on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital where she was available to assist in dental emergencies. Passionate about dental care education, Dr. V. Colombo promotes dental care and oral hygiene in early childhood by regularly giving presentations to pre-K and elementary school students. Her enthusiasm for the dental profession is only enhanced by her motivational tutelage. She has received several accolades from the Long Island Mentoring Program. She offers high school students an opportunity to spend time with her in her day to day practice of dentistry. Dr. V. Colombo also welcomes those interested students to the field of dentistry by donating her time at Career Day in numerous middle schools in our local area. Dr. V. Colombo truly enjoys treating her patients and encourages others to join in this rewarding profession. In addition to her career, Dr. V. Colombo is a wife and a mother to two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid skier. At Colombo Dental Associates, she works with her father, Dr. Fred J. Colombo, whose experience and expertise she has admired since assisting him at age 12. Dr. V. Colombo maintains a personal commitment to continue practicing expert and progressive dentistry as well as giving back to the community by sharing her time and her passion for mentoring.

 

Frank Liu, D.D.S.

Dr. Liu graduated with a B.A. from New York University in 1991. Dr. Liu's research interests then brought him to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and continued at Columbia University where he earned an American Association Dental Research Fellowship. He graduated with a D.D.S. from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery in 1996 receiving both the Hannah J. Appel Periodontics Award and International College of Dentists Award for outstanding academic performance. Following dental school, Dr. Liu went on to complete a general dentistry residency program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Liu has published various research articles and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Oral Medicine. Dr. Liu is happily married and spends his time playing with his son and daughter. He is compassionate to his patients and committed to providing the highest quality of care for them as well.
